I’m now unemployed, like literally tens of thousands that have been in the last few years. It feels, perhaps, maybe, tertiarily, glancingly… like our industry is made of fuck.
Not on the verge of collapse – in fact it’s making almost infinite amounts of money – but none of it is based on repeatable profits. You either make a money syphon GaaS game or you bank on being a tired Nintendo franchise. This can’t continue.
I miss work. I miss nearly shitting my pants when a new State of Play came. I miss the misery, I guess.
